adopt a cell
The SEVT is beginning the design of a vehicle that will race in the 2013 Global Green Challenge, and invite you to adopt one of the 1500 solar cells that will power the car. We hope to purchase the solar array during the summer. The cost to adopt a cell is $50, but all donations are appreciated.
Adopters will be receive a picture of Eleanor signed by team members, a subscription to the team newsletter and will be recognized on our website and vehicle trailer. Adopting a cell is a great way to become more involved with the team, and your donation is tax deductible.
Here's how you can adopt a solar cell:
OPTION 1:
Mail a check for $50 payable to 'MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team' with Adopt-A-Cell on the memo line. Our mailing address is:

OPTION 2:
To pay with a credit card, use the online giving through the MIT Alumni Association website. To donate to SEVT online, use the following link https://giving.mit.edu/givenow/AddGift.dyn?desig=2249000 and follow the instructions to pay with a credit card. Be sure to designate that your gift goes to the Solar/Electric Vehicles Fund (2249000).
